Treasure from India

I so appreciate Mahatma Gandhi. His words not only make wonderful sense, they are timeless, and filled with wisdom. I realize he was killed in 1948, but when a person’s words still speak so loudly, still have an amazing impact, you know they were a great person. I receive strength from him still. I am most impressed with his inner strength, and his compassion. He overcame so much hatred and prejudice. Here are some more quotes. You can find more at

“Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment, and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment.”
