A Lighthouse

lighthouse in a storm

A lighthouse does not crumble in a storm,

it is the epitome of strength,

regardless of whatever rages,

regardless of the rain pounding,

of the sea roaring,

there is no shifting sand,

it is rock solid, embedded deeply,

into the earth,

and there is always, always,

the light.

In the day of calm,

the lighthouse stands, a reminder,

that hard times will come,

but there is no fear,

no worrying about the storm,

because we have,

the light.

Make me a lighthouse God,

that’s all I ask,

so I can be,

strength and light.

 light in blue

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!

      1. Hi Bella! A number of people have asked about the name Nicodemas. Someday I’ll tell, but not just yet. I’m new to blogging, and still learning.

    1. Thank you! Your words are always kind and encouraging! Blessings to you my friend. Should I call you naturelover or story teller? I think I’ve seen both on your site.

      1. Wonderful! I do kind of the same before I write my Monday post. If I am not sure what to write, I sit down and drift into a different state (kind of meditation) and let my fingers simply start… that’s the pure flow.
