The light of May is softer,
than the oppression of summer,
the blistering, burning heat.
In May, the light soothes the soul,
relieving us from the harsh,
condemning cold, and renews us,
with warm energy infusing.
The iris will flourish in May,
and the carnation, the beauty,
of a rose, life giving.
In May, our love is new again,
and never ending.
I will always love,
the wonderful light of May.
