All you really wanted, was some time,
I came home after days of working,
and what did I say,
after kissing your cheek?
“I have to write this story”,
“I haven’t blogged all day”, I said.
“I’ll just be 30 minutes”, I said.
Two hours later, I was still at the table,
writing my heart out,
while you had gone to the bedroom,
to light candles,
waiting.
We were supposed to watch a movie,
or that British mystery series,
but I felt stupid,
when I saw the candles.
The fire had gone out.
Later we were next to each other,
in bed, alone,
back to back.
You were wondering,
about my heart,
I was dreaming of ways,
to make it up,
a dinner out? the Greek place?
roses.
All you really wanted was some time.
Please forgive me.
I need to live it,
instead,
of just writing about it.

“If you love nature, you will love people.”
If its not imagery then take your sweet wife to her favourite restaurant or buy her something she ll be really happy 🙂
Thank you Izza! I have and will be again, very soon! We are ok now. Love is good, and I’m grateful she loves me. I owe her alot of dinners out though. Peace.

“I need to live it, / instead, / of just writing about it.” Yes. Very good. 8^)
Thank you! I really appreciate your comments! Peace.
I can totally understand Nicodemas – time passes w/o us realizing, the most important person in our life is waiting, just another five minutes. A tangled web – treat her to a lovely dinner out, or breakfast in bed w/flowers of course. I stopped blogging at night because of this ~
Thank you Mary. I love your comments. The breakfast in bed is a great idea! It is tough with working, family, and blogging. Peace my friend
This happens to me too, Nicodemas. Luckily, she is patient and extends grace. We’ll said.
Thank you Johnny! I think we have both been blessed. For us the Creator knew what He was doing putting us together! Peace and blessings.
so honest of you my brother 🙂
Thank you Tanveer. It came from the heart. Blessings to you sister.

Make it up!Make it up!!
Reading your lines, I smiled, as I’m the one King has to wait for at the office while I finish up on my blogging things. Sometimes, he says “you can continue it at home”. I rarely do, as I’m too tired to continue. I guess the office gives me better inspiration. Home just says “Its me time”.
I understand completely! Yes I do make it up to her. I try to bless her every chance I can. She’s more valuable than great treasure! I’m very blessed by your wonderful comments! Be blessed today and everyday. Peace.
I’m very sure she understands and truly loves you the way you are. Much grace.
this is the story of too many couples, well, you might have snuggled with her while she watched the movie and you blogged, or chatted with friends, for writing stories we need distraction free environment but not for blogging 😉
just a tip!
