Oceans 1351

I like cars especially,

the old ones,

but I know a man,

that spent $800 a month,

for his car payment, and $200

a month, for gasoline,

not including,

his insurance,

and maintenance costs.

Do you realize how many children,

that would feed?

Have we lost our minds?

  1. Yes, it’s crazy. We don’t have a car, not that you shouldn’t have one. But it’s funny when vehicles become such a priority. They get almost elevated to the level of personhood, where decisions are made to buy another car instead of have another child, as if a child could be considered just another “expense” or optional luxury. What a poverty of spirit when we value our material possessions above the people we are called to love.

  2. Ive lived in areas where driving was necessary and I didn’t like it much. Now i purposefully live in an area where I don’t need to drive. Mass transit means someone else drives while I take a nap 🙂

    1. Unfortunately I think you’re right. There is still alot of positive in the world, but sometimes it is hard to see. Peace and blessings to you Genie.

      1. Everything other than humans is positive, Nature does does not have any evil, that is the oddity of humans exclusively.

“In Nature there’s no blemish but the mind,
None can be called deformed but the unkind.”
