What a wonderful poet she was! She was American born, and had a way of looking inward, at the heart, and the soul. When she did look inward she often found gold, and shared that great beauty with us.

To be honest this is probably the most beautiful way to describe hope, that I have ever heard. Hope within us has wings, which means it is alive. The illustration here is that it is like a bird, living and dwelling, even if it is on a temporary perch. I am stunned with the line, “sings the tune without words”. In other words we don’t know, or understand how deep this wonderful hope goes. It is so deep, one cannot describe it, it is beyond words.

And it is ongoing. It never ends, because it is alive within the person, and perhaps beyond. I find these words so beautiful, and fulfilling, I wonder if I should write anything about them at all. But I wanted to share their great beauty with you.
