Canada and More 229

In the Shenandoah Mountains, the fall is not devastating

it is a gift, the presence of the divine infused

into the earth, a quietness begins to rule, with softness,

as the sun warms the cold air, so the trees can rest.

Bears begin the process of slowing down

and soon we will all be covered with the joy

of the white blanket, the silence and peace.

A celebration is planned, because we know

there will always be new life just around the corner,

and the green, but for now we rest in the presence

of the divine infused.

  1. So nice! Like a spicy fall tea for the soul. God reveals himself so much to us though nature I find as well…that patient humility of nature being turned crimson, being stripped, wrapped in white, and then rising again to new life in the spring…
