When we stay in the dark too long we lose our perspective
of where the colors are, of where the moon belongs, and what is truly
beautiful. Instead we grasp for the stars, longing for more
of the black – with occasional reflections from the water.
Absorbing solace there is a sun, each of us can hold – bringing
forth life, allowing us to grow, not the opposite
of dark, but soaking it in so there is at least
a gray, and then somehow the fog is burned
encouraging us, that we can live in the colors,
