Today’s Crimson

crimson - commons wikipedia

In today’s crimson of angry words

primitive armies attacking

it’s good to know we don’t have to partake

we don’t have to watch the funeral procession

of sanity on TV. We can choose

to walk into the mountains

or the woods, and be restored

 by clearing our lungs

washing our eyes

seeing our reflection

again, in a pool

of water.

Embracing

life.
