In This Age

from forbes

In ancient cities with turquois embedded

I knew you, could sense your spirit

as I walked down the cobbled stones.

Swans offered their necks gracefully

but I only had eyes for you,

your breath delivered

me from a life

of despair.

And when we came to the altar

in this age, having known

the journey, there was no question

we were right for each other.

Joining hands

there was a wedding

with diamonds

and rubies

declaring our glory.

Peace and blessings to everyone.
