A Word for Wednesday

20160602_161839

The word for today is “forgive”. It happens to all of us, people say things, and do things to us that are just horrible. And sometimes it goes so deep we think we cannot possibly recover. I’m not talking about international events here, but personal relationships. People we know, can usually hurt us the most.

But nothing can hinder us more than walking around bitter and angry. Bitterness and anger will not only hinder our art and creativity, but hinder our growth as people. So what do we do? We forgive and let it go. That doesn’t mean we agree with what they did or said, but we release it. And believe what is true about yourself!

And sometimes it takes a while. Try this one simple test. Tomorrow or the next day, think about the person, or the event that hurt you deeply. If you still feel bitter about it, then continue the forgiveness. In the long run you will be better for it, and your spirit will experience freedom!

Have a great time this week, making our world a more beautiful place!
