For Men Over 50

100_0003

Yes, anyone can read this, but in particular it is for men my age, involved in a relationship.

Ok, so what – if she doesn’t look the same, as when you first met. You don’t either! Have you looked in the mirror lately??

You know she has carried you in her heart, for all these years, and you need to do the same. This is truly treasure come down from heaven, and you need to see it that way. There is nothing more valuable on this earth than the two of you!

And turn off the game once in a while, stop watching the politicians, and look at the one who is so beautiful! She has been waiting for you, so don’t be stupid. When you invest time into your relationship, she will love you for it.

And maybe even play some cards with her – like you did when you were younger – remember?? Just the two of you, with candlelight and some jazz music. Does the loser go first, or the winner? I just wish I could remember.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

  1. very wise words and so thought provoking Nico!
lest I be considered biased…(as a woman) I’ll also say ‘vice versa’ for the ladies too 🙂
it would be great for each of us, to just be in that place and time of early relationship…. and Hold It Tight!
Never Letting go of it; Never Relinquishing the beauty and love of those wonderful days!

    1. Wonderful words Debi! I love your comments. Yes, there is great beauty held within the early days of being in love. It’s a matter of investing I think, and the rewards are absolutely amazing. And you’re right it works best when both work towards the goal of infusing the relationship.Peace to you and have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

  2. This is one of the most moving posts I’ve read and the most sensible. A real relationship is a treasure and should be nourished. You’re a gem!

    1. Thank you Holly! I’m very blessed by your comments. Yes, we need to treasure our loves. None of us is perfect but if we invest in our relationship we can grow as a couple, and even as individuals. Peace to you my friend, and have a wonderful Sunday!
