In a Snowfall of Late Autumn

100_5360

Gentle flakes speak to us in a snowfall of late autumn

surprising us with their whispers of peace,

barely touching each leaf, a flurry lands

undisturbed, as the leaves absorb

the gift, ever so softly. We too

are blessed in our spirits as

our mother covers us

so silently.
