I Don’t Know What Happened

100_1190

I don’t know what happened. I was minding my own business, when suddenly

the poetry filled me, taking over my pen, rising into my eyes,

filling my heart with light, so now I can see clearly.

Was it faith? Was it overcoming depression?

I don’t know, but one thing I do know –

I will allow the poetry to live

in my pen, releasing

an ocean into

my soul.

    1. Thank you Melanie for your wonderful comments. A part of me has come alive again lately – but perhaps it was never actually dead, in the first place. Peace and rich blessings to you!

  1. bravo and congrats for having allowed poetry come and settle down into your life, Sir! btw, some say we’re what we read… 🙂 actually, our whole life is built upon words, often ‘prisoners of a ‘speech tower’, and sometimes, a breeze pushes them out like a soft haze over a quiet islet… it’s just as if we were looking for a needle in a haystack that we’ll probably find via poetry… 🙂

wish you tons of inspiration & my very best… respectful regards, Mélanie Bedos-Nicolas
