Autumn Memories

As the autumn quietly abandons the forest, slipping through the brush whispering

the trees are silent now, occasionally entertaining a ghost or a lost leaf,

and I remember My Love, some of our moments there, and you –

your face peeking through your big coat smiling

sipping pumpkin spice latte. A twinkle

still remains in your eyes,

of the brilliant reds

and the glow of gold.

And My Love you are so beautiful at all times,

I can’t wait to see your light shining again

in the snow.
