Forgiveness

Forgiving someone has never meant agreeing with what they did,

it simply means you don’t hold a grudge

and you don’t let what they did

destroy you.

  1. I am going through this process right now, thanks for the post! It is so true that we really only hurt ourselves when we don’t forgive. I always liked the quote that says how Bitterness is like drinking the poison that you think will hurt the other person.

  2. This is such a profound statement, Nicodemas! It doesn’t mean at all that we agree that would more be resignation. But we simply accept that things cannot be reversed and that we don’t punish ourselves anymore!
