Harbors hold us anchored, but only until we are brave enough
to admit we needed the rest, and until we seek more
than just the wind. A deep knowing that our hearts
are renewed, by longing more frequently
for the setting sun.
Note: My friends I am seeking a deeper rest
but to be honest, I often wonder how.

Always keep pressing forward, though it’s good to have a rest once in a while. Here’s to the next chart of sea, DG.
Thank you David! Your comments are encouraging. Peace and blessings to you.
Be well
Pondering your “friends request” or “heart share”. Love your post. Seeking the harbor or ” Anchor’ besides the wind. Some pretty deep seeking, I reading. ‘Rest” as in a vacation isn’t always available or welcomed. The only answer I have ever found any true refreshment and rest, has been at the feet, and in the arms of Jesus in His Word. I hope it doesn’t sound like a pat answer. When I need a “word” most, I go to the Cross. Begin in the garden or anywhere along His walk and He always meets me there. Prayers my friend.
Thank you Denise for your beautiful comments. I honestly have thought about not blogging at all or at least cutting back to a trickle. I have a stack of books I would like to read and I do feel a strong need to seek a spiritual quiet. Life has been super tough in different ways for quite awhile, and I am worn. You share your faith beautifully, so please feel free to do so here. Peace to you.

Thank you my friend Peace to you.
Sometimes we feel this way, when we are worn out or overwhelmed. Each day is an opportunity to begin again, knowing there is always a sunrise to breath in and a sunset to breathe out and let go. Peace to you my friend.
Than you Karen for your wonderful comments! Yes it is true, and I have wanted to stop blogging, but I love to write. I think it is what I am supposed to do. So I will rest more often but not quit completely. Peace and rich blessings to you.
