My faith tells me there is so much more to Easter than colored eggs, or cute bunnies,
instead, the dying and living again, atonement given.
And yet, we should hold onto our beauty,
our colors and traditions
the blending of our hearts,
making us so wonderfully
who we are.

Absolutely and amen! Tragically It seems that the Lord’s sacrifice, suffering, and His amazing offering of salvation has been reduced to nonsense instead of inspiring the reverence and appreciation it should. 🙂 ❤
Yes, that does happen but I was also saying our traditions are OK, because it makes us who we are and there is beauty in that. Have a blessed Easter my friend! Peace to you and your family.
Happy Easter Nico‼️ And peace to you and your family as well❣️😘

Thank you for your kind words Connie! Your comments are a blessing. Peace to you and your family.
yes indeed. you have a kind and compassionate heart Nico. I love these holiday traditions, always have. but – occasionally, I confess – it rubs me, when others partake of the holiday, the day off – and scoff or ignore, The Point.
yes, I understand and move on. we all are Ready in our appointed times.
thank you for your thoughtful and inspirational words today Nico. PC Debi
Thank you Debi for your beautiful comments! I think people develop their thinking over a period of time. We had chocolate and bunnies when I was growing up. But later in life as a super conservative I was harsh and condemned my own upbringing. But now – I can enjoy both sides of the holiday. Peace to you my friend.
my pleasure. I always learn … gain something reading your verses. PC
