Focusing on the Beautiful

Flowers were invented by the One

who made us all

to bring us strength,

and to help us focus

on the beautiful.

  1. SO true, Skies…through God’s flowers we engage in the beauty and colors of nature. We have them briefly and hopefully those moments are cherished. Peace and golden happiness.

      1. Amen. The hymnals, when meditated upon, gives some salient strength to our wearied soul; little wonder, while the Bible recorded that we should read psalms and sing hymns…

  2. This made me think of that advice at Philippians 4: 8. “…Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.”

  3. SPLENDID, Monsieur Nico! speakin’ of “beautiful”, I’ve been to Iceland 3 times, but to different places, because I did find a sense of reference there… I felt like being a part of something that has gotten wild(raw!) beauty, balance, inner peace, serenity, freedom and harmony – life’s essential skills… distraction, noise, misplaced confusion, or misdirected energy just don’t happen there… to me, Iceland is THE very art of living in harmony with the all-mighty Nature, but then again: we all have “our Iceland” somewhere… 🙂

    1. That’s wonderful Melanie! I would love to visit Iceland someday. But you’re right we can have a sense of wildness and nature close to where we are. Merci my friend! Peace and great blessings to you.
