Where Poetry is Born

In our spirits, the very core of our beings,

waits a special place, a sacred space,

moving us beyond

our tears, our fears,

into the quiet side

of our hearts,

where poetry is born.

  1. Because we know genuine love
    His creative spirit comes alive
Deep within our hearts and soul
    Beautiful melodies will now arise

Its easy with a spiritual eye to see
No other place I would want to be
    Than embracing your lovely words
    As they become treasured blessings.

    Thanks for the smile!

  2. I agree to that. As someone who writes poetry as well, I know for a fact that poetry is sacred, it comes from a deep place within. So well written. And it will be awesome if you’d check out my poems too 🙂

  3. Beautifully, perfectly expressed. I am not knowledgeable or wise in the ways of poetry “rules,” etc, but I do know that the only words I’ve written remotely resembling poetry have come from a deep spiritual place. I continue to enjoy your writing. Namaste

    1. Thank you Bonnie for your great comments! I am humbled and encouraged. Yes a deep spiritual connection can produce wonderful writing. I love walking outside in nature and prayer. Namaste. Thank you so much for being part of my blog. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

  4. “And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice” (1 Kings 19: 11-12).
