Fractured Wings

20170609_205647

She came in for a landing, and he broke her fall

truth be told they lifted each other,

she was crying now

fractured wings,

but he said to her

“Sweetheart you’re not as fallen

as you think you are…”

  1. @”they lifted each other…” – c’est magnifique! ❤ these are 2 French classic authors I love:

    "Sadness flies away on the wings of TIME."(Jean de la Fontaine)
    * * *
    "I believe that if one always looked at the skies, one would end up with wings."(Gustave Flaubert)

      1. Yes, and where do all these people go to? There may be tent cities in other states for awhile. I wish I could take the time off from work, and drive a boat or something.

      2. After Katrina we had many displaced move to Florida. We actually hired four where I worked. They loved it so much they had no plan to go back. I expect there will be many moving away from Houston.
