He really was a warrior, not just in his dreams
so she was willing to accept his shield
having fallen, into the strength of his arms
and he always found the answers
to his questions in the deep oceans
of her eyes.
And together they became
more than just arrows flung
into ambiguous darkness,
and they learned that love
is greater – than any
strong tower that loves
the night.
