My Oasis

from sahara desert dream

When I was a barren desert My Love, I searched for you in every corner

holding sifting sand, parched,

burnt out, not realizing

you were my Oasis, and what I needed

were your rivers of living water,

pouring over me, washing

restoring

my life,

until I was alive

once again.
