Lake Peace

100_5552

I love the wind whipping, rippling the over the water

as I walk in the early autumn, searching the mountains,

the sky covering us, with clouds rolling over,

I sigh and pray, knowing the peace

even more now, and

being filled beyond

any language,

with the wind whipping, rippling

over the water.

    1. My wife and I have been here several times, including once for our anniversary celebration. I will be going out again soon to see what I can find of fall colors. The mountains we can see from our house are much smaller. Peace.
