A Peace We Used to Know

100_5682

As the pine trees hold our prayers, the snow begins to fall

and a peace we used to know,

covers us, gently.

We can lift our eyes then,

as quiet moves through our spirits,

in a confident knowing

of how beautifully

we were made.
