In the Ocean Where Light Began

100_1471

It was a darker rain, and darker still

yet, it was the light in a poem

that held his thought, safely.

He refused the storm of the day

and the torture, the turning

of the night

impressed with a spark

or was it a wave

of light?

His mind did open

and he bathed

in the ocean where light began

unashamed

of his victory.

    1. Anna this is one of the best comments I have ever received so thank you! I’m only here at a much reduced level while I work more off line on my novel. I’m also exploring other venues. Thank you again. Peace to you and blessings!

  1. Deeply touching, Nico. I know I am not in a place such as you are, yet your words struck a deep chord as yet again I fight the terror over the health of a loved one. Hang in there! I’m still praying. And good for you for seeing the LIGHT. Bless you~ 💝
