Even the Sun Surrenders

20170609_205848

Even the sun surrenders to the night,

as young lovers dream of colors streaming

through fountains,

and ducks nestle into their feathers,

while frogs take over the serenade.

A cloudless sky prepares

for the victory of fireflies

while the lake embraces

the reflection of stars

and the moon,

those softer lights.

    1. Thank you Erika for such beautiful comments! And there’s something wonderful when we walk through these nights with the one we love! Peace and wonderful blessings to you and your family.

      1. That is actually what makes them so perfect. Experiencing the magic togethers. But then again… basically everything so much more special when experienced together with the one and only!

    1. Holly I just noticed that I originally wrote the wrong name to your comment. My wife’s been sick alot and I was worn out when I typed it. I apologize. And I also fixed it. Again I’m sorry.

  1. Beautifully written how the day turns in to the night. I love how you have written, “The sun surrenders to the night and ducks nestle into their feathers”. Thank you for sharing such beautiful creation with us. I send you Many Blessings of Love, Light and Healing Energies your way 🙂 ❤
