“Faith is the bird that feels the light when dawn is still dark.”
Rabindranath Tagore
May the wings of faith awaken us
pouring hope
and love
into our hearts.

Beautiful, Nico, and timely for me, too….
Thank you Lauren! I enjoy Tagore’s work but the rest seemed to fit right together. Peace and have a blessed week.
Good thoughts. Through faith we live and have our being, looking forward to the eternal. Faith can lift our spirit so we can ride on eagle wings.
Yes so true! Thank you and welcome to my blog! Peace and be wonderfully blessed.
So true and wonderful!
Thank you JR! Your comment is a blessing. Peace and have a wonderful week.
You are welcome and I wish you the same!
“Hope is a thing with feathers.”
I love your post, and I love Emily Dickinson, because she knew what you know.
Thank you Cindy for your beautiful comments! I’m humbled by your kind words. Peace to you and yours, and wonderful blessings.
Short but meaning poem. Our soul pulls us towards the light of GOD. Nico.
Yes for sure! Thank you Michel! God bless you and your family and give you all peace.
Do true, in fact crisp and clear. Currently I have a daughter and sister who are both dealing with having to move (separate families and situations) and the obstacles are deep and wide. Both are believers and yet they are at ground zero in faith. I am becoming more aware of the lack of faith in fellow Christians. I was praying last night for them. Their lack of faith is deep and there is anger and cynicism. I have been trying my best to pray, talk, console and yet it just butts up against a wall. I truly believe that faith should be effortless, as light and simple as your beautiful poem. So very interesting how faith in trials is so difficult to grasp. I do believe that experiencing trials is integral to learning how to grow our faith. Anyway, I have been thinking and praying about this lately. God Bless ❤️ keep your poems coming. 😊
*So true 😊 lol not Do
Margaret thank you for your very kind and insightful words. I think you’re right about growth coming from trials. But I hate trials! I think we all do. And I think trusting is so needed for our faith walk. I’m not sure it can be taught. Maybe it’s more of a work in the heart. For family, prayer and loving them are so vital I think. The other thing I’ve noticed is that a solid faith family, as in church can make a huge difference. Sometimes megachurches fall short in providing the friends and support we need. God bless you and your family my friend. Peace and wonderful blessings to each.
Thank you ❤️😊 there is a wonderful book that I read as part of my devotion time, I have read it at least 3 times so far. It is “Broken Bread” by John Wright Follette, he has the best perspective on the trials of the Christian life. I glean so much every time I read it. Blessings!
Thank you Margaret the book sounds wonderful. I so appreciate your comments and your beautiful contribution to my site. To be honest my faith has taken a real hit the past few years due to trials. Peace to you.
Oh but that is where we find the spiritual sweet spot, just another opportunity to nestle with the Lord, not just safety but growth, He always knows best. I truly think that you need to get that book, you’ll see what I mean. ❤️
Thank you I will check it out! 🙂
Love this message. Reminds me of Emily Dickinson’s poem about hope being ‘a thing with feathers’.

Thank you Morgan for your beautiful comment! Peace my friend and be wonderfully blessed.
So beautiful 🙏🏼😍 Have been needing some reminding on how faith is so important. Sometimes I feel as though I need to have control of everything when in reality I should delegate some of my worries to the faith inside of me. Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this. What an incredible photo and poem 🌟❤️🌸 Looking forward to seeing more of your posts ☺️⭐️
Thank you so much Maria! Yes faith is an important element in our lives. This is actually a quote though, from Tagore. Peace to you and wonderful blessings!
