Over the Oceans

100_1102

When we cast our prayers over the oceans, will the waves remember us?

And will the wind be able to cleanse us pushing through our grey

shadows in order to bring the refreshing?

hopefully our words will catch wings ascending

beyond the clouds where our voice

will be heard, and our spirits

lifted. At least

we hope so.

  1. Lovely words, Nico, and we can’t give up hope no matter what. It’s easier said than done, but hope has to be a constant in our lives in order for us to move forward…take care and blessings…

      1. Aww, thank you! All the more Peace to you! Your poem read so beautiful, like ‘a Psalm from the Bible’ came to mind.☺️ A poem I have taken to heart. Isn’t it nice when a complete stranger’s words can touch another stranger’s heart? Just lovely!

  2. The ocean unlocks an inspired freedom of infinite space, unquantifiable, and absorbing all the senses. I am free from the constraints of land, alive and dancing on intoxication in the present moment, with sensation and energy enveloping me as I fall further into complete lust for the ocean.
