Whispering Each Other’s Names

She loved it when the wind gently lifted his feathers

she tucked her wing under his,

and felt so alive

they both ascended

each other’s names.

  1. This is similar to a poem I wrote last week titled, “The wings that lift. The universal pool that we are all part of without knowing the voice of the other. Your poem is a wonderful read and different than mine but similar in theme. I hope everything is well with you and your wife. Sending healing.

    1. Thank you Joseph! I will have to come by more often to read your work. Yes we are ok here. My reduced level here seems to be working, giving us the time we need. She still has cancer but making progress. Thank you for your blessings and prayers!
