So what is our determination? To live as one nation?
Or to sleep with our assault rifles, dreaming of a time that never was, and when not everyone was truly free?
A time filled with black and white TV showing us soap commercials
and that she’s a good wife keeping his shirts clean?
Stop dreaming.
If you really want to live the 2nd Ammendment
go buy a musket.
We’ll all be safer that way.
No one needs
an assault rifle,
no one. Wake up
and smell the coffee.

So nice written Nicodemas 🙂
I’m happy to live in a country, where it isn’t easy to buy weapons. We do have much less violence by weapons.
Thank you Irene for your comments! Yes the numbers show that fewer guns equals better safety. Hopefully this country will learn that and have some common sense gun laws. Peace my friend and wonderful blessings.
I hope so too. Peace and blessings for you too.
🙂
So true. I thought Sandy Point would be the tipping point. For a few moments after this weekend’s massacres I sensed a movement towards common sense gun control. Now all I hear is rhetoric. I no longer recognize my country.
Yes unfortunately I feel the same. I think gradually we will move towards some good sensible laws. Thank you so much for your comments! Peace and blessings.
Great writing dear.
Thank you Laleh! Peace my friend and blessings.
My pleasure dear.
True!! Great post, friend
Thank you Leyla! Peace and wonderful blessings to ya.
I lived for 20 years in Philadelphia where the women mourn their children lost to violence. Perhaps we cannot change human nature. But we can do a better job of regulating access to the means of violence, especially weapons that can cause harm on a large scale. No one “hunts” w/ an AK-47.
Exactly!! Thank you Anna! Few on the far right want common sense gun laws, but we must restrict access in order to protect people. It’s the same as having stop signs and speed limits to protect our citizens. Peace to you my friend and wonderful blessings.
Agree x 100!
Thank you Erinn! Peace and wonderful blessings to you.
Great post
Thank you so much! And welcome to my blog. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.
Amen!
Thank you so much Barbara! This one is a bit raw because I feel strongly about it. Peace and blessings to you and your family.
