The Two of Us in Autumn

100_5627

When fall fell I was already in love

breathing easier,

we both love wearing the softer sun now

and our jackets,

holding hands

we find ourselves

disappearing

into the leaves.

The Lifesong of Autumn

20171028_150447

In autumn there is not only the glory of leaves

but the harvest

the drawing in

and bringing together,

the closeness of love.

A lifesong

sung so wonderfully.

Glimpses of Light

20160514_175924

As the Spirit of Lying continues to strangle Washington D.C.,

choking our democracy,

ripping our unity

we do occasionally have glimpses of light.

And the light of truth

will prevail,

subduing even the far right subverting,

Lying to win, winning at all costs,

will eventually

destroy itself.

Living the Story

20170929_145444

In the shadows of forest, of flickering light through the canopy above, so many stories are born and run their course,

run through my veins where swordkeepers dwell, speaking of wisdom and peace, with kings and queens worthy,

and still others tell of the Spirit Bow speaking, or the Sacred Javelin lost, and then found. How light is bent

or of buckskin and the tribes restored within their spirits coming back and bison running free, as the river……

A writer alone

in the forest…..
