We Share Something Beautiful

20190918_095327In all that we see around us, and in our world, does our wordflow, our paintflow, become affected?

We often see with our hearts – so how do we respond? I wonder at times if I should stop blogging.

I won’t replay the news but so many horrible things are happening. Racism, killings in the street, disease taking so many away, and an economy faltering.

How can I write, or attempt to write something beautiful in these difficult times?

Well maybe, just maybe that’s the best time to write, and create artwork.

We don’t turn a blind eye, yet we offer hope by sharing our hearts through our creations.

And hopefully……we share something beautiful…..with our world.

Amen.

    1. Thank you Wendi! I think you’re right. It is difficult to do at times isn’t it? In the post I was describing some of my thoughts. In the end though we move forward. Peace my friend and wonderful blessings.

      1. yes, it really is difficult to do many days for me. there are days I really wonder about all of this stuff that is going on……..so much sadness.

  1. The gift of encouragement is identified in Romans 12: 8 as a gift of the Spirit. The word “encouragement” derives from the Greek word “parakletos” which means to exhort, come alongside, comfort or encourage. All Christians are called to encourage others (1 Thess. 5: 11). You, I think, have a special gift for it, Nicodemas.

  2. I’m right with you on this. At times, I feel the same way that you do about expressing joy, and beauty, and love in the midst of a world that is coming apart at the seams. Yet, the beauty still exists. It needs to be seen, appreciated, and expressed. There are already more than enough people expressing the pain, outrage, suffering and negativity.

    1. Thank you David! You are so right about this. There is beauty and we need to express it. Your kind words are very encouraging. Peace my friend and wonderful blessings.

  3. Hello Mr. Nico,
Good morning from Japan. You echoed my thoughts, and how many of feel right now. Thank you for sharing your writing, even when you may (quite understandably) not feel like continuing, we are very blessed by what you say. Wishing you, Mrs Nico and all your loved ones a blessed, safe, and healthy week ahead.

  4. I had the same thoughts, Nico, and then I wrote which you already saw, I think. 🙂 Please continue sharing your beauty and hopeful posts. It’s what the world needs now more than ever. Hope and Love.

  5. “Well maybe, just maybe that’s the best time to write, and create artwork.” -Couldn’t have said it better myself. Your poems and pictures always bring me a sense of peace, that’s something that needs to be spread around.
