Horizon Meditation

The white blur of wings descending,

following the infinite line

of two blues converging,

as rocks on the shore count

the rhythm of waves.

He leans against a pine tree

and closes his eyes,

on a prayer.

Seagull wings.

  1. What a view, what a moment, what a feeling. You put this so wonderfully in words. When I read the line with closing the eyes, I took a deep breath.

  2. Just lovely.
I’ve been missing out on reading post due to a neck problem I have and migraines but I’m starting to feel better enough to read post and comment again.
