When our rivers run deeper, do we allow
our phrases, locked in secret places,
a place to roam, to meander
giving them permission
to flow?
through us, letting them go?
write from your heart.

The wind I know never leaves this Earth, moving
teaching the mighty oaks to bend, or caressing
the most gentle of all flowers, once
I saw the mountain wind make a man cry,
with his prayers carried throughout the Earth
his broken heart beginning to mend
the wind announced his need in Singapore
and rain fell washing him,
the wind can do all that,
have you seen the wind move?

She noticed that in the wind swept valleys, poetry was waiting
some recovery words, a healing stream with phrases
even after the darkness fell, wind would pull her
through as light caught her wing, the good one,
she was never surprised really of how good
it was to come into the light again, or stand
on top of the mountain.

Writing of peace and renewal, especially in nature, has been such a wonderful blessing to me. I try to share snapshots of time, and feelings as I think of nature and peace. I love writing so thank you so much for reading!
Right now in life I’m happy. That also helps me when I’m writing. Yes, we have struggles, some big and some little, but we not only get by, we can do well internally through the storms. That’s not always easy!
I now post 3 new posts each week, and sometimes a previous post, especially if the blog is slow for that day. I had an English professor once that said 90% of life is just showing up. That’s sort of true, especially in blogging. The more I’m here, the better the blog does.
My post entitled, “I’d Rather Have a Cup of Coffee” was different wasn’t it? That’s more of how I write now. I’m actually a fiction writer dressed up as a poet. And yes I was expecting some readers to not like it. Oh well! I’m too old to worry about that now.
I say/write what I feel strongly about.
I still see no need to retire, do you know why? I have found that I still have something to say. I find that amazing and beautiful!
Thank you again for being here. Have a wonderful spring!
Peace.

Happy Easter everyone! This weekend around the world millions of people are celebrating the risen Christ. New life, and the defeat of death are amazing to think about.
And Happy Passover to all my Jewish friends! You know, without the Passover, today’s celebration of Easter would never have happened. God saved His people from death and pulled them from slavery in a dramatic way.
You see Jesus was Jewish. He grew up Jewish and celebrated Jewish holidays, including Passover! Isn’t that amazing? And the Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder. Did you know that?
I also have a lot of friends here from a number of faiths. I’m so happy to say that, and I’m so glad you’re here. You are a wonderful part of my blog! Thank you!
May each of us enjoy this season of renewal and rebirth. The Earth is becoming new again!
Peace and wonderful blessings to each of you.

Life from the earth once frozen reinforces we are loved,
yet I wonder, isn’t there redemption
in each season? a way
for us to discover who
we really are, and
who we were always
meant to be, to find
that place, that space of the heart
that speaks
of wholeness
that we’ve always dreamed about,
and have always needed.
