In the Wind Swept Valleys

She noticed that in the wind swept valleys, poetry was waiting

some recovery words, a healing stream with phrases

even after the darkness fell, wind would pull her

through as light caught her wing, the good one,

she was never surprised really of how good

it was to come into the light again, or stand

on top of the mountain.

  2. You wrote that so beautifully, Nico. In some way, this reminds me of the saying: “At the end, all is well, if it is not well, it is not the end.” Deep in our hearts we always know that the light will always return.

    1. Thank you Erika for your beautiful and uplifting comments! It is true. In our core there is light that will pull us through. Sometimes it’s hard to find but is there if we keep looking. And that in itself is light. Somehow I got really philosophical just now! Thank you again my friend. Peace and wonderful blessings.

  3. Nico, your posts are a refreshing respite. Thank you. πŸ™πŸ»
I love this ~ “light caught her wing, the good one” Intriguing: another story to be told.
