I Am a Seed

I prefer to write from where I was planted,

instead of from when I was buried

moving beyond the darkness, reaching

for the sun,

I am a seed, my poem is the plant

still growing, always tender

her beauty more powerful

from the rain.

      1. Listen, this is a ball out the park, hit by you, piece of work. Truly. Just read it again there and thought’ WOW.’ So take a bow, seriously.

  3. “I am a seed, my poem is the plant” that is beautiful. We can grow beautiful petals, strong trunks, and bushy leaves that sing when the wind of life blows through them.

    1. Thank you Erika for your beautiful comments! And you just wrote a poem here too! Yes, I like that term “wind of life”. Peace my friend and wonderful blessings to you.

      1. Yes, I did. And in some way, both go along quite well. Thank you and I wish you at least the same, Nico.
