Your reading, liking, and commenting on my work are my reward!

I write a lot of fiction now but poetry still runs strong.

My fiction is often about people that are marginalized. I also write about a supernatural woman named Emma. It is fantasy/science fiction.

My poetry is about renewal within nature.

I’m a faith based person but not conservative in any way!

Thanks for reading my work and being part of my blog!

    1. Thank you so much! I’m very blessed by your comments. I’m not always at peace but I do seek peace always. And faith based in love, and nature, along with loving my wife all motivate me!

    1. Solitaire I am humbled! I’m so blessed by your being here, and a part of my journey. I love your posts, and your spirit. Thank you, thank you. Good health to you and peace always my friend. Namaste.

  1. Just came across your blog. I have a blog that I began writing my journey on mental wellness and now begun to write poetry for relaxation as well. Lovely words and Thank you for sharing with us. Love and Light from me and God Bless 🙂 ❤

  2. Ancient Skies, in response to your post on Dec 13, 2017, I have also noticed a drop off in participation of followers. Many who used to read my work haven’t shown up lately, and many whose work I have read haven’t really looked at mine. I try not to think about it. I think things move in cycles. There are so many people on WordPress that it’s overwhelming, and some post multiple times a day, filling the reader. I find I’m spending less time reading posts and writing. I’ve even unsubscribed to some pages since I can’t keep up. I hope you can beat the blues. Many people feel down this time of year with winter and the holidays. Your blog is very uplifting! Sending good vibes your way!

    1. Thank you for the good vibes! Yes, I think you are going through some of the same things I have. Blogging can be so strange! I’m grateful for your input. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

      1. It could be. Some get tired of it I think. I love writing though, and I don’t get tired of it at all! I am thinking now of how much I am to be involved here in the future. Peace to you and blessings.

  3. I read today’s post and seriously hope you don’t retire from your blog. I am a new reader but enjoy your poetry very much!

    1. Thank you Robin! Your comments are encouraging. Weird things have happened and I’ve been bummed out for sure. My wife is recommending posting less if I want to you, but to not give up. I really appreciate your being here a part of my blog. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

      1. I understand the need to take a break but am glad to hear you won’t be stopping altogether. Hang in there!

  4. What a beautiful blog! Nice to meet you. I am not a middle-aged woman, mom, grandmother, loved and loving wife — I’m a co-creator with the spirit, spreading my spiritual and magical thoughts through my words.

  6. Hello, thanks for following my blog on WordPress, I really appreciate it 🙂 Looking forward to reading more of your stuff, too. abg

  7. Love your philosophies about nature, and I’ve enjoyed reading through your poems. Particularly fond of ‘In the Morning Fog’ and love the photo that comes with it too. Do you take your own photographs?

    1. Thank you so much, and welcome to my blog! Yes I do take my own, but in the early days I did not, and rarely today do I use one from another source. I always note the source of the photos at the bottom of the post. Your comments are a blessing. Peace to you and be blessed!

  8. Hello! I found you through another blog and am visiting today. I enjoyed reading your ‘About’ and look forward to perusing in your world. Have a blessed day.

    1. Thank you Lauren! Welcome! If you enjoy fiction I used to write a lot of it here, mostly a couple of years ago, including light romance, and a series called “The Escape” and a post apocalyptic series called, “The Last People on Planet Earth”. I also wrote fictional stories about Native Americans/First Nation people. Some of the characters were Thunder Speaking, Cricket in the Meadow, Bluebird.
Now I write poetry here but on the side I’m writing a novel. Thanks again. You can call me Nico or Nicodemas.

      1. It’s nice to meet you, Nico, and thanks for the update on your writing. I do like fiction and will enjoy navigating around your site. I also invite you to pop on over to my little corner of WP if you have time. Writing poetry is a hobby and I’ve been sharing it on my blog for about 6 years now. I also post about other aspects in life. Anyway, if you do visit, I hope you enjoy, and have a blessed weekend.

    1. Thank you so much! This was taken on the other coast, in Maine, and is the Atlantic ocean. Although I don’t live there it’s one of my favorite places in the world. The rugged beauty and lighthouses are at the top reasons why, but there are many other reasons. Peace and wonderful blessings to you.

  9. Your words, indeed your heart, are incredibly inspiring. Thank you so much for stepping out and sharing your gift with the world! Blessings from New Zealand 🙂

  10. I have a question about what you said in your “About” section that I would love to hear your thoughts on. You said that “Writing is like art” and I’m wondering what you mean by that. Are you suggesting that writing is not art? or are you meaning it in some other poetic way? Thank you for your blog! I enjoy reading your thoughts! I actually used your blog as an example of a poetry blog for a class I took! 🙂

    1. Well thank you Izzie! When I think writing it is certainly creative! When I think of art I think of the visual arts such as paintings, sculptures, and photography. They are very much alike. I’m glad you’re part of my blog. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

      1. Thank you for the explanation of what you meant by that! I appreciate it! I love the community that your blog has generated. It’s something that I think is rare to find, which is rather sad. But it seems that you have a very personal connection with your readers. 🙂

      2. Thank you Izzie! I work very hard to be a good blogging friend, and to give back what I’ve been given. I’m very blessed by the community here. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

  11. It is amazing to meet you! I feel that our writing goals are similar, but I like how you said it more! “It is not a Christian blog. It is a writing blog made by a Christian.” This is lovely! I hope that you are having an amazing week!

  12. So nice to discover your Blog and your beautiful writings! I follow now hope you will follow too so we can stay connected. Thanks to you today, because you left me a comment to my Holidays Art and it took me here visiting your Blog! I am an independent full time artist that love to create in many ways, I love watercolor painting and I do illustrations and more, I also write poetry, Haiku and short stories when they are whispered to my soul! Hope to see you visit my blog again! Take care Carolina

    1. Thank you Carolina! Your comments are very encouraging. You create beautiful art and have a wonderful blog! I will stop by again soon, probably tonight. Peace to you and wonderful blessings.

  13. I think this is one of my favorite “About” pages I have ever read! I feel like our blogs are similar in that my blog isn’t a Christian blog, but it’s a writing blog written by a Christian. I love that so much! Your poetry is beautiful! Have you written any books?

    1. Thank you Jason for your amazing comments! I need to simply put the poetry into book form, and I will in the future. I’m also writing a novel which keeps me busy, and working a regular job! 🙂 I will stop by your site later tonight to check it out. Thanks again. Peace and wonderful blessings to you.

  14. The love and gratitude expressed for your wife and family is truly a blessing to read. You have expressed so much beauty and delight here. Keep on giving life to Spirit through your written words. Much love to you and your loved ones, MW 😊🙏😊

  15. I just read a poem that reminded of your site and I must share-
“Nothing is Far” by Robert Francis
A quick search should lead you to the poem.

  16. Dear Nicodemas,

Hello! Having read some of your posts and judging by the number of posts that you have published, it is very obvious that you have been very prolific over the first quarter of 2021.

In the spirit of Easter, I would like to wish you, albeit belatedly, “Joyeuses Pâques!”

Did you manage to enjoy a lovely Easter weekend and do something special or unusual? Perhaps you have taken the chance to do something very worthwhile or read some unusual articles. Perhaps you have had the opportunity to consume some Easter cakes or memorable meals.

Speaking of what I have got myself occupied in, I have stayed up till very late in the last few days to complete some new graphics and eye-catching animations plus more pertinent information for my special Easter post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective“, which you can easily find at the Home Page of my blog, as it is currently the Featured Post. You can also access the post directly at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2015/04/11/easter-in-modern-multimedia-perspective/

You are very welcome to peruse the extended and updated post at your earliest convenience. I would be delighted if you could kindly submit your feedback to my said post, as I am very keen and curious to know what you think or make of it.

I would like to inform you that these animations will only be visible when you visit my blog and view its contents in situ. Hence, it is prudent to refrain from viewing my blog in the WordPress Reader, which tends to ignore or strip away some styling and formatting components, and also fails to display animations, all of which are aplenty in my posts and pages, which will look very different and even improper or amiss in the WordPress Reader.

In particular, scroll down to the end of my said post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective” to watch the complex animations under the heading “Related Articles 📰 with Animations“. Please enjoy!

May you find April very much to your liking and highly conducive to your writing, reading, thinking and blogging about whatever topics that take your intellectual fancy, seduce your gustatory pleasure or tickle your spiritual delight!

May you continue your endeavour in restoring and renewing our rivers through poetry and wordflow!

    Yours sincerely,

    1. Thank you Sound Eagle for your in depth and insightful comments! I really appreciate you taking the time to read my posts and commenting. I will stop by later today. Peace and wonderful blessings. Thanks again.

    1. Yes, I stopped doing them due to not having the time, even though they’re fun. Thank you so much for being part of my blog. That reminds me I should update my About page! Peace and wonderful blessings.

  17. “Nature restoring and renewing us” – I understand that exactly! I’m also a Christian. My blog isn’t faith-based either. I’m glad I found you.

      1. I’m back to blogging (new blog) after a hiatus, so it’s nice to scope out great blogs I’m unfamiliar with. Hopefully mine will pick up speed after I get a few more posts up! 🙂
