An award free blog as of July 1, 2015

Your reading, liking, and commenting on my work are my reward!

I love to write! I write poetry, fiction, and more. I really love other cultures, and sometimes write about them. Lately I have been writing about nature restoring and renewing us.

This blog is a creative writing outlet. To be honest it is exciting! I am spiritual but this is not a faith based blog. It is a writing blog made by a Christian. Writing is like art. I like to have a vision and paint a picture with words.

Thanks for reading my work and being part of my blog!

    1. Euphie I am so honored by this! It is a tremendous honor. I’ve been thinking about how to respond because I don’t usually accept awards. I don’t like promoting myself or drawing attention to myself. I love to write as you know, and I am so blessed by the readers here. I am learning and growing though. May I consider it in the future? Again thank you for this wonderful honor.

  1. Nicodemas: I would like to honor you with the Versatile Blogger Award. Please let me know if you would accept the nomination. You do a wonderful job on so many different topics. You write reviews, fiction, and poetry. You are very versatile, and I feel very deserving of this award.

    1. Tracy thank you so very much for this honor! It is humbling. I recently wrote to a reader that I don’t usually accept awards because of not wanting to draw attention to myself. Is there anything that I would have to do with this award? Again thank you for this wonderful honor!

      1. Not unless you wanted to. It is just a way for colleagues to honor each other. I went the traditional route of acknowledging the person who nominated me with a link to her blog, wrote 7 things about myself so people get to know me a little bit better (anything you want, funny or serious ) and a list of people whom you would like to nominate. Regardless, I think you have an awesome blog, and would not want to put you in an awkward position.

  2. Hello Nicodemas–I want to thank you for stopping by over on cookiecrumbstoliveby and for wanting to follow along on my life’s little journey—You writing and work is most enjoyable and I look forward to reading it at length –again—thank you–blessings–Julie

      1. Thank you! You have no idea how much that means. I haven’t had the chance to look too far into your blog but you are a great writer from what I have been able to read so far!

    1. I think this is fascinating! Thank you so much and I accept! I love to talk about the creative process. Blessings to you. I also left a message on your site.

    1. Marlyn this is a great honor! I am very blessed. In the past I did not accept awards, but I think now it is a great way of supporting other bloggers. I accept! Blessings to you and peace!

  3. I just wanted to say that I have been following you for a long time, then all of a sudden today I discovered that I was not following you, I know it happens in WP all the time. it has happened to me before, so I just want to say that it was never my intention to unfollow you and I am sorry if you have not seen me here for a while. But now I am back following you again! 🙂 🙂

    1. Trini I am very grateful for your beautiful words. Yes it does happen, to me too and it’s hard to figure out. No need to be sorry, but thank you again. It is an incredible blessing to have you in my neighborhood! Namaste!

    1. Erika, I am deeply honored! Thank you so much, this is a tremendous blessing. I of course accept but it may take me a few days to pull it together. Blessings to you my friend. You have encouraged me once again! 🙂

      1. So happy I could “inspire” you only through this award. You are doing great work, Sean! It is not always easy to stand behind our convictions! Happy to be connected. Don’t worry, the award is yours whenever you are ready to pass it on 😀

  4. Haha! You are right! 😃 I must have “misclicked”. Sorry! You know what! The content is meant for you anyway! Happy you feel encouraged to keep it up. Would miss your wonderful stories and inspirations!!!

    1. Thank you JoAnne! Yes I really don’t like to be evangelized by others, and that’s not my purpose here. I simply love to write poetry, fiction, and nature nonfiction. I also write alot about cultures. Sometimes I put music on. Peace to you.

    1. Cool! You are now the third person, to nominate me for this just recently. I’m working on one now. This is a great honor and alot of fun, so thank you!

    1. Wow, thank you, I am honored. I have done this challenge several times, but thank you! From time to time I do quotes, and love them. Thanks for thinking about me. Peace.

    1. Erika this is a great honor! I am so blessed. I don’t normally talk about myself, but will give it a try. The hardest part will nominating others. It will also take a few days for me to finish it! Peace and thanks again.

      1. This now is an honor for me, Nicodemas! Thank you so much for accepting. It is different than just an award and that makes it so special! 🙂

  5. As a fledgling writer and novice blogger I am happy to have found another who understands that a Christian can write without being labeled as an author of a “Christian” blog. I too, am Christian, and that will come out in my writing at times, other times it will not, and both are perfectly acceptable to God. I will enjoy reading your art!

    1. Thank you Sarah for this wonderful honor! I have stopped accepting awards as of the summer of this year, because it got to be too much time for me. I am honored though so thank you!

  6. Found myself reading your posts after wandering on WP for a while! What a stunning space this is…Looking forward to more amazing posts 🙂 Cheers…I’d love to know what you think of my blog…do stop by when you have a moment.
