Hope Begins to Fill My Eyes

20170628_132542

With wings outstretched, tilting my head, then banking to the left I break the pattern, the shell encasing my sky,

refusing the bonds or to live in the darkness of being discouraged… hope begins to fill my eyes,

with new life until finally the horizon comes into view, and I am free.

Amen.

Embracing Her Light

20180929_145113

She surrendered herself so completely to me, I was in awe of her humility

and I have never regretted holding her

embracing her light or being lost

in her ocean,

as we hold on

strengthening

each other.

Note: Yes I am absolutely writing of….. my wife. My Love!

His Heart Really Could Soar

20170628_132524

So he stood there, on top of the mountain with his arms outstretched and a mist in his eyes, remembering

the light he’d been given. And that his heart really could soar, in spite of the violence….. of our world.

The Strength of Spirit

20190507_121804

Some men know how to rebuke the thunder, pulling down the noise, even silencing the destruction of kings and sovereigns.

And yet they will hold you when you cry, write a poem when you’re blue, simply leaving a line or two. And some men too, know the power of flowers.

It is the strength of spirit, in a sensitive guy……
