Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! This weekend around the world millions of people are celebrating the risen Christ. New life, and the defeat of death are amazing to think about.

And Happy Passover to all my Jewish friends! You know, without the Passover, today’s celebration of Easter would never have happened. God saved His people from death and pulled them from slavery in a dramatic way.

You see Jesus was Jewish. He grew up Jewish and celebrated Jewish holidays, including Passover! Isn’t that amazing? And the Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder. Did you know that?

I also have a lot of friends here from a number of faiths. I’m so happy to say that, and I’m so glad you’re here. You are a wonderful part of my blog! Thank you!

May each of us enjoy this season of renewal and rebirth. The Earth is becoming new again!

Peace and wonderful blessings to each of you.

Happy Easter, Happy Passover

20180428_172027Today millions of Christians around the world will be celebrating Easter, the resurrection of Christ.

It is a season of new life. If you keep this day, may God bless you and fill you with faith and goodness.

And my Jewish friends are celebrating Passover. It is a time of remembering their freedom from slavery.

The term “Passover” comes from the night the angel of death “passed over” the people, sparing their lives. Did you know that?

I have a number of faiths represented here and I’m very glad you’re here!

By the way the cherry blossoms and tulips are in full bloom, and the earth is bursting with spring.

Peace to each one and great blessings.

Happy Easter, Happy Passover

20160514_124347

To all those celebrating Easter today – Happy Easter!

And I have a number of Jewish friends so – Happy Passover!

May you be wonderfully blessed during this very special time of year.

And if you don’t celebrate either day, may you also be blessed this spring,

as we all behold the beauty of the earth reborn. May hope live in our hearts.

By the way, did you know that the Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder? It’s true!
