Light Streaming

20171018_145628

In our resistance against darkness

we find light streaming

into our hearts and lives,

and often

a poem or two

floating freely.

As Autumn Fades

20171024_161906

As autumn fades, we remember

special meals,

the warmth of smiles,

passing the mashed potatoes

and at sunset – blankets,

and popcorn on the couch

with a good movie.

Solar Wind – Conclusion

20170628_135215

It was her eyes really, that convinced me. Even though I didn’t know her, and she didn’t know me, there was hope in those hazel eyes.

And she had done the research, checked me out on every software ever made….I figured she did kind of care about me,

even though for me it was all new….. something told me I needed to get on that flight, the last one leaving Earth.

Within seconds I put all my grieving aside, and yelled, “Let’s go!” We jumped up, joined hands, ran for the gate, and the doors of the shuttle…..

just as the glass of the airport bay began exploding……

It was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Narrator: This couple did get to know each and are doing very well on the new planet Beryl.

It is 5 times the size of Earth with only a few thousand people. It is a little colder, somewhat like Norway.

Writers

20181017_151012

We were writers back then, weren’t we My Love?

Writing over every scar,

infusing every story

with the imprint of the other

inseparable really,

an edge

to our day and night

as we got lost in each other’s arms

and found out who

we really were

with fresh lines

we even spoke our own language,

had a certain wildness.

Love written

on our hearts,

so amazingly…….

The Light Was Already Dancing

100_1289

As I walked into the woods today the light was already dancing,

filtered through the leaves,

pulling me,

pulling my spirit closer,

into the healing.

I stood for a long time

at rest, confident,

grateful even

that I was part of the earth now,

part

of the light dancing.
