Even in our brokenness, will still
hold onto memories of hope,
as if
they were ships,
sails filled with wind,
bringing us back,
we move forward
as the light sparkles,
on our sea.

My Faith VIII
My faith teaches me that our dreams can evolve, changing, pushing us
as a never ending wind, filling our sails with power and strength, taking us
further than we ever imagined. We control the helm,
but He makes the wind.

Lift Your Sails
You may need to rebuild your vessel, but even if you do
make sure you lift your sails, expecting the wind, expecting to succeed
conquering the waves, holding on tightly to the helm
as you lean into the grey, into the lighting.
Let the wind take you, to that place
where there is only peace and calm seas, the sun
leading you to the endless horizon,
and where your sails are full
of courage.
