I’m always amazed by your poetry, art, articles, reviews, and photography. You should all receive awards and make lots of money!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! This weekend around the world millions of people are celebrating the risen Christ. New life, and the defeat of death are amazing to think about.

And Happy Passover to all my Jewish friends! You know, without the Passover, today’s celebration of Easter would never have happened. God saved His people from death and pulled them from slavery in a dramatic way.

You see Jesus was Jewish. He grew up Jewish and celebrated Jewish holidays, including Passover! Isn’t that amazing? And the Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder. Did you know that?

I also have a lot of friends here from a number of faiths. I’m so happy to say that, and I’m so glad you’re here. You are a wonderful part of my blog! Thank you!

May each of us enjoy this season of renewal and rebirth. The Earth is becoming new again!

Peace and wonderful blessings to each of you.

Happy Thanksgiving 2021

This is such a beautiful time of year, of pumpkins and apples and cinnamon spice. Along with the restful peace within nature. Of healing and renewal.

It is my favorite time of year, and Thanksgiving is extra special. We can thank God and be with our families, at least we hope to. This is more beauty that builds good things within us.

Let us remember that the holidays can be a tough time for some of us. We’ve lost loved ones, or we are facing a serious illness ourselves. So many things have happened. Let us think about all those we know needing our support, as we sit down at our tables.

Peace and wonderful blessings to each of you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Walking in the Mountains

As the trail opened up on top of the ridge, I was surprised by the brightness of the sun. Wildflowers in the tall grass moved gently in the wind.

I marveled at my spirit being at rest once again, and I was lifted into a space…..I had always wanted to discover.

Happy Anniversary!

My wife and I have been married for a very long time! In fact we’ve been married for more than 35 years. Isn’t that amazing?! I think I’m even more in love with her now.

We are right now at an undisclosed secret location, enjoying each other, and enjoying some R&R. Now today is not the actual date because we don’t share dates on the internet, but we really are celebrating!

I have some posts for you, but I will be offline most of the time for a few days. I may check messages once a day…..maybe!

Thank you so much for being part of our journey and for reading!

Peace.

Memorial Day 2021

My father-in-law fought in World War II, and was there for the invasion of Normandy. Specifically he was on Omaha Beach and lived to tell about it. Later he fought in the Korean War.

My Dad was in the military too but due to his age he was in between the wars. They are both long since passed away.

It’s difficult to know sometimes what to write on days like today. It’s a solemn day, remembering all those who gave their lives fighting…..for our democracy.

For me personally, I thank God for them. I’m also grateful to come from a long line of fighting Nazis, and right wing extremism.

Wishing you peace today. Let’s remember….. to remember.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well it has been a difficult year, hasn’t it? Maybe the most difficult year in alot of ways.

And yet, looking foward there is alot of good just around the corner. A vaccine is not far away,

so the coronavirus will be dealt with and hopefully eliminated!

In the U.S. we have a newly elected president who can help to right so many of the wrongs of the past.

No American leader should ever support the Confederate flag or monuments. No one. They are symbols of treason and racism.

Anyway the list goes on for the healing we need as a people.

On a personal note, I’m grateful for healthcare so that my wife can receive the treatments she needs.

And that she is still here walking on this earth……with me. Yes we can still be thankful.

May we move forward, looking for and working towards the healing….we all so desperately need!

From our our house to yours……wishing you a happy, safe, healthy, and blessed Thanksgiving!

And I wish you peace.

My Number One Blogging Secret

20191019_103718

Well it’s not really a secret, but my number 1 blogging tip is simply, invest in other people, other blogger’s posts.

By investing I mean reading the posts in our readers. I do often leave comments too, simply to encourage others, the way I’ve been encouraged over the years.

That’s really what blogging is about. We share our work with each other and encourage each other. I so wish I could follow more of you!

Those that I do follow, your work is amazing! Thank you for being who you are, and for being part of my blogging experience.

Thank you for reading!
