Safe and Sound

I never knew that the music of the Hunger Games was so beautiful. William Joseph plays the piano here, and is accompanied by stringed instruments. The music is inspirational, and yet peaceful. I love the gentleness here. The photography is just wonderful. There is nothing like this type of music to unwind with, after a long day at work.

Have a great week!

I wish you peace.

Wonderful Tonight

I love this song for several reasons. The lyrics, the vocals, the guitar, are all beautiful and so unique. It’s also a love song. It reminds me too,of My Love and I, especially when we were young. There is a very mellow sound here, that I find very beautiful.

Have a great rest of the week!

Her Violin Sings

In this video Lindsey Stirling is in New Zealand, and to be honest the scenery, and cinematography here is some of the most of beautiful I have seen! Gorgeous! The music is wonderful too. Even though the music is from the Lord of the Rings, there is nothing else from the movie here, so that’s why I gave the post the title, Her Violin Sings. By the way Lindsey actually sings here as well.

I’ve never been to New Zealand, but it’s on my list now, of a must see.

This video is inspiring. Have a great week!

First Fridays – Blessings

So I have this idea for the first Friday of each month. Yes I know it’s not August yet, but today is an experiment. The idea I have is that one day a month, I play music like this, have some commentary, or maybe some words from the Book of Psalms. I have faith and you can see that in the blog, but I know preaching makes people uncomfortable. I don’t like it either. Well ok, maybe once in a great while! You signed up for nature poems, love poems, quotes, and some stories with good endings, and I love writing in these ways. This is a creative writing blog. Yet there can be incredible beauty in faith.

So today I will see what kind of interest there is. You let me know. I really enjoy your comments, so please feel free.

This song by Laura Story is so incredibly beautiful, I really wanted to share it with you. I love the poetry here. We all go through tough times. Maybe there really is healing, in the tears.

Where Have All the Flowers Gone?

In the 1960’s this was a powerful song, and it still is. There is a sadness in the words, but within the sadness there is a deep beauty. It is also meant to teach us something. The group is Peter, Paul, and Mary. I also like the interaction they have with the audience, as they have them sing some as well. This was one of the most famous songs from when I was growing up, but I never caught on to the meaning of the words, until now. There is a noise at the commercial, at the end of the video, which I don’t like, so be careful with the volume. Have a great rest of the week!

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!
