Son of Ecuador

This is beautiful music with a multi-cultural blend of South American, First Nations, and Europeon elements. It is also celebrating nature, and the rising of the sun. The artist is Leo Rojas, who was born in Ecuador, and now lives in Berlin, Germany with his Polish wife. Cool! There is a female singer in the video and I’m wondering if she is his wife. Leo used to be a street performer in Germany, and he got his big break on a talent show there.

This music is alive and filled with love.

Whatever you are going through, hang on. The sun is coming up again, the dawn is breaking, and soon it will be a new day!

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!

Lakota Music in the Wind

Snow Moon Tipi

When I hear the Lakota songs

the language,

I think of the wind pushing lodge smoke,

up into the sky,

and the hands of time reversed,

to when the earth was new,

not old and dirty.

Where mothers held their children,

singing lullabies,

and men sharpened their arrows,

dreaming of the next hunt,

food for the people.

Grandmothers, and grandfathers,

told stories then, teaching the people,

about love and honor.

There were no rifles yet,

and young children could run safely,

not worried about sickness or death,

medicine men, and medicine women, brought healing.

The people alive,

maybe it was not paradise,

but at least their spirits were free,

and their culture flourished.

I love hearing, Lakota music in the wind.

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!

Dreams of Nature

Have you ever dreamed about nature? This video seems like a dream to me, or a series of dreams. The filming is incredibly beautiful. I don’t know how they filmed some of this, with being so close to the wildlife. But never play with mountain lions and bears! I think my favorite portion is with the American Buffalo. The video is similar to the horses video, I posted a couple of months ago. The music sounds like First Nations music. At the end there are some First Nations people, and there is an identifying with them. If you do dream tonight – be blessed!

Reach for the Sky

When I watch this video I do reach for the sky. My heart sends up prayers, and I am refreshed. There is some beautiful living nature here, with the sounds of the water flowing. Nature does bring healing and peace. There is also the beautiful flute playing by Mary Youngblood accompanied by a piano. Enjoy and have a blessed day. Be at peace.

Tears for Kientepoos

This is some of the most beautiful flute playing I have ever heard. The flute in this video is larger than others I have seen her play, and it has a deep, rich sound. I do hear lamenting in the song, but there is also tremendous peace. It is tangible and real. I also think of nature when I hear this. Sheer beauty! There is alomst no commercial on this either. Have a great week!

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!
