Autumn Photography

Many of you know about my other hobby, which is photography. I have a new camara! I’m still learning my new digital Canon, but I’m so looking forward to this autumn and trying it out!

This is my favorite time of year, and hopefully we will all be able to be safely outdoors as more people get vaccinated. Wahoo!

In the meantime, I have thousands of photos here on my site, so if you see fall colors they are temporarily from previous years.

I’m currently making room on my site for new material. My goal is to share more photography here and have fewer words. I’m not really a six-word story type of person, but future posts may be similar.

New Beginnings

Bumblebees hover in the early morning light,

gently tasting the sweet nectar, of purple flowers.

And I realize that healing is not far away,

in fact, very close to us,

in the wholeness of new beginnings.

A New Day

Even if yesterday was a horrible day, it’s a new day

filled with potential,

bright

with possibilities.

Move forward with a humble heart, and in the strength

of confidence.

Winding River of Poetry

As spring meanders into summer with a slow drifting, so our wordflow shapes the words

moving into phrases, shaping then into poems and the winding river of poetry begins

flowing onto our pages, we bring

the uplifting of our spirits.

The Healing of Spring

The fragments, the shattered pieces of our inner rooms, will seek their own healing

when our minds turn to the sun,

and our eyes take in,

the encouragement of a flower.

Sometimes,

all we need

is one.

And the light dawns,

that we are made too.

Pieces of Our Heart Song

Softly and gently pieces of our heart song cling to the corners of snowflakes lingering, floating

phrases tossed and spun, in the velocity of the wind,

until

we remember.

My 3rd Biggest Blogging Secret

Life is an adventure! And one of the best ways to express the love and beauty of this adventure, is through photographs.

I almost always use my own photographs and this is another blogging secret of mine. I love photography!

I have a great number of photos and it saves me a HUGE amount of time, to plant one into a post rather than searching

the internet. I use to search for photos and it took me forever to find the right one! So no more.

And sometimes I’ll write a poem, and already be thinking about the photograph to plug in.

If you missed my first 2 blogging secrets, the first was to invest in other bloggers and their sites.

It takes work but it’s well worth it! And #2 was to be hopeful and encouraging!

By the way I need a new camera, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.
