Living in the Final Chapter

In the end of every chapter,

in the walk of every graveyard,

there are always answers,

for the living.

The ghosts said,

“you do not belong here”,

so I took my candle,

and walked,

into the light.

When the Love Flows

Mountains and Rivers 389

When the love flows,

I am a good father,

understanding the reasons,

for being planted,

and I have the strength,

to look beyond the suffering.

When the love flows,

the universe becomes smaller,

and I can see my brothers and sisters,

bleeding with me,

but by joining hands,

we can grow anyway.

When the love flows,

My Love, the one you gave me,

is more important than I am,

shining like the sun,

our supernovas colliding,

into the joy of one.

May Your love always,

and forever flow,

so that I can be,

the man You created.

Let it flow. Amen.

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers!

Up Here

Mountains and Rivers 266

Up here, I know You are real,

there are no excuses,

Do You always see this far?

yes of course, I forgot,

I understand the choirs now,

the royalty,

there is a mist, but I think I see Nepal,

I’ve never seen it before….

have mercy,

I can never understand,

the suffering!

Can you send some more angels?

They need……God they need help….

and that young man,

to the right, see him? He’s in Detroit,

he needs…….,

and the young woman in New York,

considering suicide…..get the gun away from her!

Oh, thank God…….

there are so many.

No wonder we only see in a fog,

and You see clearly.

While, I’m here,

I’d like to pray some more.

Is that Your hand,

on my shoulder?

In the Deep Woods

Mountains and Rivers 386

In the deep woods, there is no doubt,

no worry,

we are one with the earth,

and He is there,

leaves surrounding, embracing,

teaching us to be calm.

A deer peeking through the trees,

says He is watching,

as the hawk flies over,

spreading her wings of assurance.

Rocks listening to our prayers,

drawing us to the water,

where we can see time,

and our music playing.

soul going down into the roots,

and reaching up to the sky,

both together,

receiving healing,

and grasping ahold of,

His strength.

Blessings to everyone, and peace!

Wings III

Wings III

In spite of everything,

I am still flying,

up high,

war wounds, and scars,

cannot bleed anymore,

wings open to the wind,

above my problems,

is it my ability?

No it is the wind,

lifting me up,

under my wings,

His strength,

beyond all my power,

taking me places,

I never would have dreamed of,

strength to go above the storm,

yet gentle,

to coast on the breeze,

a clear day,

or cloudy,

on His love.

Check out this video – you will not be disappointed! Just amazing – watch the second bird too – flying through trees! Awesome!

By the way this is called Wings III because sometime ago I posted Wings and Wings II. They are still on the blog from January.

Blessings to everyone and PEACE!

On the Mountain Top

There is gold and silver on top of the mountain,

not metal, but spiritual,

up in the clouds,

high in the rocks,

close to the Creator,

infused with His presence.

Native Americans were born there,

Tibetan Monks want to live there,

Moses was there for 40 days,

his face was glowing when he came down,

I want to be there!

But He said, “You were made”,

“to live in the valley”.

So I live here, with people,

through the pain, the tears, the hurt,

and the hate.

So we are here together,

to encourage each other,

to help each other,

and to love,

in spite of the pain.

Can I ask one thing God?

Can I have some of the mountain,

living in me?

Please flow, and live,

in me,

bring healing to us,

Please God.

Would God give us a sign,

in the form of a hawk?

Can God hear our prayers,

sent, on the wings of an eagle?

Why would He send a hawk,

to fly right by my head,

a foot or so away, at eye level?

I was not afraid,

wings slow and peaceful,

was he looking at me,

as he went by?

The strangest thing was –

I was praying,

praying and walking,

important things on my heart,

please God,

and then the hawk drifts by.

I think the Creator was saying,

I’ve heard your prayers –

receive strength today.

So there is strength in a hawk.

And there is peace,

on the wings of an eagle.
