We Hold On Anyway

20190915_155510

Even within our worst isolation, we rage

against the lonely grey

reaching, searching,

clawing at the edges

somehow finding the strength

to pray, or at least to look over our shoulder

sensing a speck of light,

the kind we used to know,

so that we hold on anyway,

building another layer

of hope.

Happy New Year!

20170703_213836

Where ever you are around the world, may your dreams take shape, and take flight, this coming year!

May you be lifted higher than you ever could have imagined. May you be healthy and strong, with creativity flowing.

And may your spirit be filled with peace. Don’t forget….you are a blessing to others!

Happy New Year!

Winter Break

20180930_130122

Well it is that time of year, when we rest, regroup and rewrite our own particular story.

Are you where you want to be? Is your journey reflecting who you are? I often take this time to reassess.

I will be reading, exercising, and cooking some new foods…

and spending time with family. I will be posting sometimes, and visiting your sites in a few days.

Peace and wonderful blessings!

As the Snow Fell Quietly

20180204_121757

There was a presence in the trees, as the snow fell quietly

it nearly took his breath away, this presence counted his scars,

and then there were none

as if he looked back

as a survivor

that could see the air now

a presence that held him

still, he remembered it suddenly

as if it were light.

Yes,

it was called

peace.
