Autumn Photography

Many of you know about my other hobby, which is photography. I have a new camara! I’m still learning my new digital Canon, but I’m so looking forward to this autumn and trying it out!

This is my favorite time of year, and hopefully we will all be able to be safely outdoors as more people get vaccinated. Wahoo!

In the meantime, I have thousands of photos here on my site, so if you see fall colors they are temporarily from previous years.

I’m currently making room on my site for new material. My goal is to share more photography here and have fewer words. I’m not really a six-word story type of person, but future posts may be similar.

Please do not use or copy my photos without permission.

Thank you so much for reading!

Peace.

The Awakening

It was as if the two of them were floating, traveling within their dreams. In the cloud covered sunlight, they felt themselves moving high above the Earth, and heading towards the Great Sea. The sea and the sky became one, clouds and water within a mist, washing them.

They were lost in this other world, but it was not unpleasant. Floating brought peace, and there was no time here, just the moving through the mist of blue. The smell of water.

But as they moved through this other world, the sun pierced their consciousness, and began shining on their faces. As they returned to their bodies, the warmth brought back their spirits, and woke them, as if from a very deep sleep.

Parables

When he walked in the streets of ancient cities, I don’t think the Messiah, (some called him a prophet) tried to impress anyone with his theology or to yell louder to prove he was right.

He simply taught with stories, sometimes called parables….

or he gave examples, unique illustrations of the human heart and how we should be to each other. Here’s one of my favorites:

“Before you try to take out the speck in your brother’s eye…..you should take out the wooden plank that’s in your own eye.”

Ain’t that something?

Seeing Clearly

I’m not sure when it was that I could see clearly for the first time. Yet the mountains showed me so well of how I was formed, my spirit taking shape. I began on this earth reaching up,

my hand almost touching. I wanted to touch the clouds. There were wings back then, but my brother and sister hawks were not made yet. It was later I was given a physical body.

It’s amazing what you can see…. in the mountains.
